Misleading Mistake

Nicole's post

Just looking at this in passing, doesn’t it appear that Nicole has gotten 10K “likes” on something and is sharing the good news?  And doesn’t it look like she’s saying that she intends to “grow the page” and generate content for her blog?

With a little thought, it becomes apparent that this is on a personal page and there’s not any way to collect “likes” for such a page, but then what does it mean?  Why did she put this up?

If you click on the words “life event,” you’ll see that it’s not her life event at all.

psychologic anarchist

It comes from a page about some goofy anarchy thing.

I suspect that Nicole was actually just wanting to share the meme because she doesn’t like any “group” to have the means to inflict violence on anyone.

But that’s not how it looks. It looks like self-promotion with a silly meme below it.

Attribution is important.  Nicole tends to ignore it.  I guess she’s too busy putting her ridiculous little watermark on all her photos because she’s such a world-famous photographer and all that.  You know, so she gets attribution.

  1. A veritable Diva of Deception she is. 🙂

“That propaganda is good which leads to success, and that is bad which fails to achieve the desired result. It is not propaganda’s task to be intelligent, its task is to lead to success.”
    ― Joseph Goebbels

“Propaganda is a soft weapon; hold it in your hands too long, and it will move about like a snake, and strike the other way.”
    –Jean Anouilh

Which means . . . Looocy . . . you got some splaining to do.

Better yet. Don’t. My forehead can’t take many more facepalms. The video on the police article caused me to leave imprints.

  2. Either sloppy posting, or deliberately misleading. My money’s on the latter.
    Anything to keep attention up.

Notice how frequently The Lady Naugler posts on Facebook? Sometimes well over 20 posts a day to her personal page alone. I’m impressed. She runs a highly successful grooming and bow making business, makes homemade dog treats to sell, now runs pet parenting classes, breastfeeds a baby, oversees the education of 10 other children, is involved in the homestead building (garden, new bigger cabin, cistern, rain collection system, composting toilet, raising of livestock), she shops, cleans and cooks (well, not that), does laundry, sifts through donated goods, and still has plenty of time for Facebook. I’m floored, humbled, really. Poor incompetent me.

  3. You left out coaching. She is now coaching people on how to “minimalize.” I can hardly wait to sign up. Wonder what it would cost me?

  4. Blessed Little Blogger: She might cut you a deal if you also do Pet Parenting classes along with Unbridled Family Expansion 101A, 101B.

  5. Coaching now huh? Sounds like she’s trying to capitalize on the Marie Kondo bestseller (a book that I quickly gave away). I think the Naugler method could be easily accomplished by simply cutting your income down to poverty level, and moving into a garden shed, viola, or voila! Easier by far than Kondo’s method. For the sake of avoiding more these misleading tactics, I have a question. On this forum can anyone else use a name that has already been used, such as “Bill”. I have seen some posts with the same name with completely opposite stances on issues. I know it became routine on FB, name stealing and FB page stealing, but what about here? Deceit runs deep with some.

  6. I hope she will minimize the amount of filth and animal feces her children are forced to exist with.

  7. On this forum can anyone else use a name that has already been used, such as “Bill”.

Yes. However, I can pretty much tell who is who.

  8. I do have a couple of questions I hope you or someone else can answer. Did the Nogs have to register the kids as home-schooled as part of the terms of getting them back? Does anyone know how often CPS would likely be checking on the kids with impromptu visits?

It still blows my mind the state gave the kids back.

  9. . Did the Nogs have to register the kids as home-schooled as part of the terms of getting them back?

Yes. They had to send the state a letter of intent for this year’s school year. Nicole had the children write the letter.

One other thing, Michelle. I didn’t allow one of your comments because it was about the grooming business. The subject is off-limits. I don’t want to do or say anything that would negatively affect Nicole’s ability to earn a living. I hope the grooming business is a smashing success.

  10. Wait, she hopes she wins the powerball (while cleverly throwing in a “math” lesson so we can all see what a great teacher she is)?! A state GOVERNMENT lottery system and she plays it?! What the everloving crap?! She wants to win money? Yet, she bashes the government incessantly! These are the posts that confirm everything that people think of her. Hypocritical and fake. What would an anti-government person who lives in a shed, BY CHOICE, do with millions of dollars? Am I mistaken to believe that “0ff the grid” is essentially a snub to money and all the luxuries of life? That the land will, in essence, support you? Please guide me through my confusion.

  11. “A state GOVERNMENT lottery system and she plays it?! What the everloving crap?! She wants to win money? Yet, she bashes the government incessantly! These are the posts that confirm everything that people think of her. Hypocritical and fake. ”

Yes, that sums up an everlasting impression of her…..hypocritical and fake! It didn’t long of following last May, to estimate that lack of integrity. The word is simply “phony”.

I think in the past day she’s done about 35 posts or shares to the various facebook pages (hers, BLH and the business pages). It’s mind boggling. Can you imagine how much time she’s spending online to find or write all that? Her poor children.

If she were an adult without all those children depending on her for care (not to mention all the animals), no one would notice or worry about how she spends her time. I don’t understand how her supporters/suppliers either don’t see (or don’t care) that it is impossible for her to be doing all the things she should be doing or claims she is doing, while also spending hours and hours nearly every day on facebook or other online places.

    Angela,

A state GOVERNMENT lottery system and she plays it?! What the everloving crap?! She wants to win money? Yet, she bashes the government incessantly! These are the posts that confirm everything that people think of her. Hypocritical and fake.

Great points on the hypocrisy regarding the lottery. I noticed another thing that set of my hypocrisy alarm when she said she gets her teeth taken care of at the “dental school”. I’m gonna guess that’s the dental school at the public university. You know, the one that the government collects taxes from residents to fund.

Again, I’m left wondering if she’s so dumb that she’s blind to her own hypocrisy or if she’ being a blatant hypocrite to bait and attract more attention, negative or positive.

  13. Angela, I can “splain” it to you.

Joe and Nicole “choose” to live a minimalist lifestyle. They don’t want or desire “things”. In choosing this true freedom — this genuine freedom that the rest of us statists and sheeple don’t have the mental faculties to comprehend . . . they are happy. Truly happy. They have discovered that life isn’t about material possessions or fancy houses or dependable transportation. It’s not about materialistic and shallow things like flushing toilets/running water or even a clean and hygienic place to prepare their food. Sufficient room for their growing children, clean comfortable beds, privacy? Those are archaic concepts of expected societal behavior that we lesser minds have been inculcated to believe are basic needs. They aren’t. True freedom of the mind and soul comes with forsaking such things and becoming one with god and everything he gives us. Like mud on Christmas morning.

Maybe they’re playing Powerball because they’re doing well financially and they have the discretionary funds to throw away in the name of hopeful excitement. I seriously doubt they would even want any of the money because they CHOOSE to live the way they are now. It’s their god given right to live like this. It’s their CHOICE and who are we to call bullshit?

    😉

  14. That is some seriously awesome “splain” right there, Please! I might be expecting, if the odds be with them on the Powerball this evening, they will generously gift the proceeds. Probably a portion in tidings to the Church. And the rest, in building a village for all the people who admire their choice of happiness. Come one, come all….pioneers, homesteaders, off the grids, unschoolers, wilderness roadies, minimalists. Yeah, I imagine if they won though, she would want to sue the government, for taking up to half in taxes. Or would refuse the winnings, because it’s “dirty money”.

  15. @SadSpiral

Unless she means she is getting her teeth cleaned at a private school that is training dental hygienists. If such a thing exists (private vocational training rather than a community college or university). There are at least 6 accredited dental hygienist schools in Kentucky and none appear to be private. I don’t know if there is a call for unaccredited dental hygienists.

    Bluegrass Community and Technical College
    Henderson Community College
    University of Louisville
West Kentucky Community and Technical College
Big Sandy Community and Technical College
    Western Kentucky University

    Does anyone happen to know?

I hope that while she’s getting her dental issues addressed she and her husband are also making their children’s dental health a priority. Flossing and brushing will take you a long way, but being seen by a dentist is still important.

  16. I do not know of any private Dental Schools in the area. I do know U of L Dental School, a public state university, has a dental clinic. It is my understanding, mainly for under insured and uninsured patients. With a sliding fee schedule. It does receive government funds and grants, to serve the community. And also for student clinical experience. I know people that benefit and utilize the services of the Dental Clinic. Yes, I do hope the children get regular dental check ups. An ounce of prevention is worth it, in tooth decay and loss.

Hypocrisy though. Publicly funded, government provided. And those other dental colleges listed, are also state public colleges.

  17. This is what she said,

None of mine have had a toothache that wasn’t related to a loose tooth.

I use the dental school for my dental work. I have the worst teeth. If they needed to see a dentist we would just pay cash like we do with the eye doc and my dental work.

    Toothaches are like death.

Doesn’t sound like the kids are getting check-ups and it sounds like her dental visits are for treatment, not cleanings. In spite of the hypocrisy, I’m glad she does get some treatment because poor oral health and pregnancy are not a good combination.

Still wondering if she’s baiting or clueless.

  18. So, let’s see here; she plays the lottery ( I thought she loved the minimalistic lifestyle. ) Whatever would she want with so much $$$$$ ?!? She wants a mini Victorian mansion ( I thought she was living her dream there in the shed). …She’d love to live in Bora Bora ( guess she’s not that into makin it in Kentucky )….lastly, at least until her next posting, she’d love to have that gorgeous greenhouse ( they’d have to really buckle down and do some WORK )

These postings of hers only prove to me how very unhappy she is in her surroundings and living conditions. She has no desire to be a real homesteader. The whole back to basics thing is a sham! Most of her time is spent in a fog, a dreamlike state…wishing and hoping for things to be different. It’s cut and dry as far as I’m concerned; I see a bunch of phony boloney nonsense in everything she posts…period! She can laugh it off, scoff, make fun with her cling ons like she usually does when people post the truth, but some of us have the ability to read between all those lines that she posts! 😊

I vote for they hit the skids, financially and this is their only option (“homesteading” and grifting) unless Nicole’s business venture succeeds. So she’s posting all sorts of things that entails WORK and luck and WORK but she really doesn’t have her heart in it because grinding poverty isn’t what she envisioned when she and Joe met and spliced. So she posts these things not only to insist that this is what she truly wants, but probably also to inform her husband (who then tells the kids) what they need to do and what it entails. Clearly, he’s not getting the messages.

Your wife doesn’t want to be shopping for canned mystery foods. She doesn’t want to live in a lean-to, shack or garden shed. If you’re going to stay at the home site, then for crying out loud, go take classes, get serious, clear land, plant a real garden and TEND IT. Quit eating everything in sight. It’s striking that every other family member is lean and Joe is not. If there are going to be more babies in your future then you really need to get cracking on learning how to grow and can the produce from your garden. Build FENCES to contain your livestock, purchase and store HAY to provide for them in the winter. Figure out how to obtain water for your family and your livestock. Be successful at something more than begging for money on the internet. Take down trees in the spring, split, stack and dry them for the winter.

This all requires a lot of hard work, Joe. Get hopping.

  20. Joe’s not going to work; he is not interested in manual labor.
He’d be up a creek if the older boys wised up and split.
What would he do if they suddenly decided life at the homestead was not what they wanted? What if they got hold of bus tickets, went to the job corps or similar program, got the help to get GED’s and drivers licences, and some job training?
What if they started earning their own paychecks?
Such intelligent young men, with such potential….

  21. Let us not overlook the girls who are also capable of hard work, including splitting wood! They all have a lot of potential to do that and much more to boot.

Of course, the younger kids are going to have a harder time doing any of those things if they haven’t had their births registered nor have their parents bothered to apply for a social security number for them. Not impossible, but much harder than it needs to be. I wonder if J/N would give them information they would need to go get that birth certificate and social security number if asked for the paperwork. I wonder if the kids would have to agree to sign their paychecks over to their parents for some period of time before they would get what they needed. At 18, they could sign a contract but I don’t know how it would be enforceable in a court of law if they turned around and told their parents to stuff it, that is the money they earned and they do not have to hand it over to either parent.

  22. @Tekla
I wonder if the kids have SS# and births registered now that they have been in foster care. I just wonder if it was required so the kids have identification in the state system for foster care to track the money that goes to the foster families.

(I don’t live in KY so not sure of their child welfare system but I know enough to be dangerous about another state’s child welfare system)
