  1. The Nauglers seem like they belong somewhere in the mental illness scale on the spectrum described in this article. It’s not often, in my experience anyway, that sane, intelligent individuals lose control of their spiral down the rabbit hole to the point of being totally delusional.

    That’s my favourite quote from the article you posted. It certainly describes a couple of 911 conspiracy nutters I know personally, and also seems to describe Joe from what I’ve seen online. Their belief in a conspiracy makes them feel better than other people, mean while, the rest of us are laughing at them behind their backs.
